Setting off from Broome we break en route for morning tea (own expense) before arriving at the township of Fitzroy Crossing. Following a brief town tour we head to nearby Geikie Gorge where we enjoy a picnic lunch. Afterwards we joing a memorable 2 hour Darngku Heritage Cruise hosted by local Bunuba Aboriginal Cultural guides. Our tour includes a boat cruise through Geikie Gorge down the Fitzroy River. On this great tour, your guide demonstrates how to make fire with sticks and provides a fascinating view of Aboriginal culture, Dreamtime stories, bush tucker, animal tracks and cultural practices. (This cruise is operated in boat featuring canopy shading from the sun and exclusive to our group).

Spot native animals including birds and crocodiles. Following afternoon tea we head back to Broome breaking en route for an optional dinner (own expense) with arrival in Broome approximately 10.30pm.

Note: Closed in walking shoes are to be worn for the 2 hour Darngku Aboriginal Heritage Cruise. This tour operates from 01 April to 31 October and is subject to weather conditions.

Child fares are available on most tours for passengers aged between 5 and 12 years inclusive. Prices available on application. Touring is not suitable for infants 0-4 years.

Tours require a minimum of 4 - 6 passengers to operate, and in some cases where only 6 passengers are booked on tour an alternative may be offered or a smaller vehicle used. Pinnacle Tours reserves the right to cancel or alter tour departures and itineraries as deemed necessary. It may be necessary to cancel a scheduled departure in which case an alternative tour or full refund for that tour would be offered. Tour operation, or alterations may occur due to road or weather conditions, strikes, public holidays and accommodation availability. The company gives no guarantee as to the exact arrival or departure times as circumstances beyond our control may influence this.
